Established in 2006, the Brighter DeKalb Foundation is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization in metro Atlanta. Its mission is to help youth and adults reclaim their lives by supporting Claratel Behavioral Health’s full continuum of behavioral health and intellectual and developmental disability services.
The Brighter DeKalb Foundation actively supports Claratel Behavioral Health and a variety of other non-profit organizations that are making a meaningful impact in the community through behavioral health programs and services. We are also dedicated to supporting additional nonprofits that serve as a vital safety net and provide essential programs and services within the DeKalb County community. The foundation is also committed to assisting Claratel’s capital improvement projects, which enhance the community and expand the availability of valuable programs and services for all.
